Wireless Solar Tracking System

Use astronomical equations in LabVIEW to track the sun and rotate solar cells for maximum efficiency!



The solar tracking works on the principal of astronomical equations which calculates the coordinates of the sun by calculating the elevation and azimuth angle given the latitude, longitude and time zone of a given place. Apart from tracking it got many other functionalities as demonstrated in the video. The software for the project was made on LabVIEW 2012 and interfaced though the Arduino UNO Board.
