Arduino upload custom firmaware through labview

Postby tiopepe » Mon Dec 10, 2018 9:09 am

Hello everyone,
I would like to upload my custom firmware to arduino Leo through a program written in labview (without Arduino IDE).
I mean I would like to build a tools (similar to "Linx Firmware Wizard") to upload a .ino files .
I searched around the forum but I don't have found anything.
Thanks in advance for the support

The LINX Firmware Wizard uses "arduino_debug.exe" (comes with the Arduino IDE) to compile and upload a sketch to a device. You can see how the firmware wizard does it by opening "<labview>\vi.lib\MakerHub\LINX\Private\Utilties\CommandLineUploadWizardInt.vi".

Hello Nathanb,
unfortunely I don't have found "CommandLineUploadWizardInt.vi" into my labview:
could you share this vi?
Thanks

It comes with LINX, make sure you have it installed. Alternatively, you can find the documentation for arduino_debug.exe, I'm sure it's online somewhere.
